It provides an upfront discount on the purchase and installation of home batteries.

Are their stipulations to the battery size?
The battery must be no smaller than 5kw and no larger than 50kw to be eligible for the rebate.
How long is the program available?
The program rebate tapers off 20% from 1st July every year until 2030 when the program will close.
How is the rebate calculated?
Approx $350 per usable KW is the calculated rebate you can expect off the upfront cost. For example a 10kwh battery would receive an upfront rebated discount of $3500.
Can I add more batteries later and still claim the rebate?
No! You only get one shot at claiming the rebate per property over the life of the program.
Can I use the Tasmanian Energy Loan Scheme in addition to the rebate?
YES! You may be eligible to fund up to $10,000 through the Tasmania Energy Loan Scheme. Interest free loans for 3 years. Call Alfy from our Sales Team on 0477 576 046 and he can talk you through the process and assist with your application.
